Seasonal ticket office personnel for the 2018 season. We will have several seasonal positions available in the ticket offices at Point Judith, Block Island, Fall River and Newport, as well as in the reservation office at Point Judith.  Positions available include:  ticket agents, reservation agents, line managers and ticket scanners.  Each applicant will be trained in all positions. Block Island applicants should have housing.

Seasonal positions generally are from mid-May through October, and potential summer employees are required to be available for work through and during Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1st-Sept. 3, 2018). Applicants can be 17 years of age, and submit to pre-employment drug screening. Applicants must be reliable, presentable and possess a good customer service attitude. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• Must be 18yrs of age.
• Able to multi-task, preparing several orders at once.
• Must submit to pre-employment USCG/DOT drug screening.
• Job requires TIPS Certification.
• Must be able to work long days, work weekends and holidays.
• Basic bartending skills are preferred but not required.
• Must have excellent communications skills with a strong work ethic and be committed to exceptional customer service.
