Celebrating 4th of July on Block Island

There are a few things that, every year, let you know the summer is officially in full-swing. The scent of charcoal smoke and seasoned meat as it mingles with the salty scent of the ocean breeze. The soothing, rhythmic sound of water lapping at the shore. From afar, the dull orange glow of grills and cookouts that mirror the stars in the night sky. This week, everything will come together in celebration of the 4^th of July. The air will be filled with laughter and conversations as families and friends carve out their spots on the beach, everyone eager and ready for the show to start. Nothing epitomizes the summer more than the 4^th of July. And nobody does Independence Day better than Block Island.
